Personnel background highlights

Jim Boggess, President & CEO. Jim graduated from the University of Louisville with a broad technical background and a degree in Chemistry. He has been employed by Tabler since 1962. Initially involved in raw material and equipment sales. Jim has owned and operated Tabler since 1965. Jim has led expansion of Tabler over the years which has included state of the art facilities, computerization, and software implementation.
Eric Boggess, Vice President and General Manager. Eric received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky. Eric has 14 years experience at Tabler in technical sales covering western Tennessee, Ohio, and West Virginia. He is now involved primarily in various management duties.
Richard Sewell, Vice President. Richard has been with Tabler for 28 years. He received a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. After working as a chemical process engineer at E. I. DuPont for 3 years, he came to the Tabler Company in 1971. Richard covers a sales territory comprised of central and southern Indiana, including Indianapolis, Lafayette and Evansville. He also functions as the sales manager for many of our principals. This duty includes co-ordination of sales and marketing efforts on their behalf and setting pricing policy for products we distribute.
Bill Watkins, Technical Sales. Bill received degrees in both Chemistry and Biology from the University of Louisville. He worked for thirteen years as a development chemist at Celanese in Louisville. Research areas were epoxies, high solids acrylics, and urethanes with substantial waterborne experience. He worked on synthesis, applications, and tech service for products in automotive, general industrial, and can coatings markets and has received several patents. He has been with Tabler over nine years and coordinates resin sales and marketing for Tabler. Bill also covers southwestern Ohio.
Charlie Peyton, Technical Sales. Charlie graduated from Murray State University in 1966 with degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. Charlie has been with Tabler over 25 years, calling on the paint, coatings, ink, plastics, adhesives, and sealants markets. He calls on accounts in middle and eastern Tennessee, and eastern Kentucky.
Cliff St John, Technical Sales Memphis office. Cliff has a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Mississippi State University. Cliff has worked in various research positions, including 2 years as a technician in molecular oncology research, 2 years as Quality Assurance Chemist in the food additive industry, and 6 years as research and analytical chemist formulating both solvent and waterbased exterior wood coatings. Cliff has been with Tabler for the last four years. Cliff covers western Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and northern Alabama.
John Niehaus, Technical Sales, St. Louis office. John graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After working in a lab for 2 years John went into distributor sales for 10 years. John then joined Reichhold and spent 28 years in sales, primarily for resins. John has been with Tabler 10 years.
Mark Chmielewski, Technical Sales, Chicago office. Mark graduated from the University of St. Francis with a degree in Professional Arts and Business. He also has an associate degree in Electronics from Joliet Junior College. Mark has been in sales for over 15 years, with experience in data acquisition, process control systems, and various instrumentation. Mark has been with Tabler for eight years and covers the upper Midwest area.
Eric McDavid, Technical Sales, Cincinnati office. Eric graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 1998 with a degree in Chemistry. Eric gained lab experience by interning at Proctor and Gamble during college. Eric joined Tabler in January, 1999 and is currently in training for a wide variety of product lines. Eric is covering Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana for instrumentation.
Larry Krock, Technical Sales, Cleveland office. Larry graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Chemistry in 1972. Larry joined Cargill as a development chemist and moved into the sales department. Larry then joined the Tabler Company, specializing in resins. In 1984 he joined the BASF Colorant sales organization, first in sales and then in product management where he was responsible for pigments and dyes in the coatings, plastics, and specialty ink markets. Larry rejoined Tabler in October, 2000.
