The headquarters are located in Louisville on seven acres within a modern, 12-year-old, 115,000 square foot building, which includes 13,000 square feet of office space. Seven automated loading docks and two drive-in sites are available. Stocks are also maintained at public warehouses in St. Louis, MO and Memphis, TN.

Technology

We use technology to make us more effective business partners with our principals and customers.

All salespeople are equipped with Pentium laptop computers and login on a regular basis to update the server in Louisville. Information is collected within a database custom developed by the Tabler Company. Data on contact reports, sample follow-up, letters and e-mail are maintained. This information becomes available to other salespeople as well as customer service should they speak to one of their accounts. It also allows us to prepare reports for our principals.

In 1998 an entire new business system based upon Macola Windows 7.5 software was installed. It is a broad package designed for distribution businesses with multiple shipping locations. It has allowed Tabler to more tightly control inventory, orders, receivables, and payables.

We also have EDI, EFT and bar coding for customer orders available.
